Student Grant-in-Aid Program
The Division of Natural Areas' Grant-in-Aid Program is designed to assist with funding for student research, all forms of art, and other non-research projects at any of EKU's natural areas: Maywoods Environmental and Educational Laboratory, Lilley Cornett Woods Appalachian Ecological Research Station, and Taylor Fork Ecological Area. Funding (up to $500) and free lodging are available for students from any academic institution for academic efforts that include one of our natural areas in the study design. To date, we have funded twenty projects!
Application Procedure:
- Follow grant application guidelines.
- Submission deadline: 9 April 2021, or on a rolling basis (contact Dr. Richter for more information).
