Student Grant-in-Aid Program

The Division of Natural Areas' Grant-in-Aid Program is designed to assist with funding for student research, up to $500 plus free lodging, at any of EKU's natural areas: Maywoods Environmental and Educational Laboratory, Lilley Cornett Woods Appalachian Ecological Research Station, and Taylor Fork Ecological Area. To date, we have funded nineteen projects!

Application Procedure:
  1.  Follow grant application directions.
  2. Submit grant application packet (electronic preferred) to Associate Director, Division of Natural Areas.  The application packet includes Cover Page, Proposal, and Faculty Advisor Letter of Support.
  3. Submission deadline: April 2, 2018 or on a rolling basis (contact Dr. Richter for more information).
